Bhopal Metro’s Rail Over Bridge Launched At Habibganj Naka Station

Bhopal ( Metro Rail News): On 5 September 2024, Bhopal Metro advanced as a 400-ton, 65-metre-long Rail Over Bridge (RoB) was finally launched at Habibganj Naka Station.

Due to the commendable coordination between Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (MPMRCL) and Indian Railways, the installation of RoB was completed in just 3 hours, enhancing the development of Bhopal Metro’s priority corridor.

Bhopal Metro Phase 1

Bhopal Metro, also known as the Bhoj Metro, is an under-construction mass rapid transit system (MRTS) project with an estimated cost of Rs. 6941.40 crore. 

Bhopal Metro priority corridors consist of 2 Lines spanning 27.90 km with 28 stations in total.
