Mr. Ashish Upadhyay has taken charge as the new Global Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Sensonic, a pioneer in fibre optic sensing for the rail industry.

Mr. Upadhyay possesses a distinctive and comprehensive background that integrates extensive expertise in core railway systems, signaling, infrastructure project management, and the increasingly vital domains of technology and cybersecurity.
Education Qualification
Mr. Upadhyay holds advanced degrees, including a Global MBA from HEC Paris and Tel Aviv University, an M.Tech in Engineering Physics, and a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Professional Journey of Mr. Ashish Upadhyay
Mr. Upadhyay joins Sensonic after serving as Director for the Asia Pacific region at Cylus, a global leader in rail cybersecurity. In this capacity, as well as in previous Country Director roles, he successfully scaled the business from its inception and played a pivotal role in promoting the adoption of advanced cybersecurity solutions to safeguard railway and metro systems across various key markets in Southeast Asia, including Australia, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand.
Before his role at Cylus, Mr. Upadhyay spent over five years at Alstom, where he undertook increasingly senior roles, including Project ATC Leader and Product Owner for an innovative program that he established, which focused on artificial intelligence (AI), security, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Earlier in his career, he managed signaling and telecommunications projects for the national rail infrastructure at Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) in India.
