Bihar CM Inaugurates Patna Metro’s Priority Corridor

PATNA (Metro Rail News): Patna Metro Project advanced as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the priority corridor of Patna Metro The Priority corridor of Patna Metro is a part of Blue Line and spans 3.6-km covering 3 stations.

Stations: Patliputra Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT), Zero Mile and Bhoothnath.

Patna Metro Project is an under construction Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) for the city of Bihar. The Phase 1 of Patna Metro comprises two corridors and 24 stations.

Line-2 (North – South Line)Patna Junction Railway Station – New ISBT14.05 km12 Stations 

The Project is being developed under a Public Private Partnership Mode . The Patna Metro Project is estimated to cost Rs.13365.77 crore.

The Patna Metro Project is being executed by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Recently DMRC awarded Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for Package PC-05 & 06 to Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC). To know more about this news: Click Here.
