MUMBAI (Metro Rail News): Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has issued a letter of acceptance to the J Kumar Infraprojects & NACPL JV for a Rs 139.72 cr contract for Mumbai Metro Line 4 & 4A. Under this contract, the JV will implement MultiModal Integration Facilities at 8 Metro Stations of Line 4 and Line 4A.

MMRDA’s scope of work: Appointment of Contractor for Implementation of MultiModal Integration Facilities at 8 Metro Stations of Mumbai Metro Line 4&4A (PKG 1)
The Mumbai Metro Line 4 will span 32.32 km from Wadala to Kasarvadavali through 30 elevated stations. It will facilitate interconnectivity among the following:
- Eastern Express Roadway,
- Central Railway,
- Monorail,
- Metro Line 2B (D N Nagar to Mandale),
- Metro Line 5 (Thane to Kalyan),
- Metro Line 6 (Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli).
The Mumbai Metro Line 4A is being constructed as an extension of Mumbai Metro Line 4. Metro Line 4A spans 2.7 km from Kasarvadavali to Gaimukh with 2 stations.
