DBL-RBL JV Wins ₹1503 Cr Civil Contract of Gurugram Metro

GURUGRAM (Metro Rail News): Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL)- Ranjit Buildcon Limited (RBL) JV has been declared as the lowest bidder for the civil construction contract of the initial section of the new Gurugram Metro Line. This section will extend 15.221 kilometres between Millennium City Centre and Sector 9.

Contract Value: Rs. 1503.63 Crores 

Contract Duration: 30 Months 

The awarded contractor will be responsible for the construction of a 15.221 km metro rail viaduct and 14 elevated stations between Millennium City Centre and Sector 9. The contract also includes the construction of a 1.85 km spur to Dwarka Expressway and a ramp to the proposed depot in Sector 33. 

GMRL Brief Scope: Construction of Viaduct and 14 Elevated Stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9 (inclusive) from chainage (-)594 m to 12603 m, Spur to Dwarka Expressway (1.85 km) and ramp to Depot at Sector 33 excluding PEB and Architectural finishing works of Gurugram Metro Corridor between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City (26.65 Km) and Spur from Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway (1.85 Km) with total 27 Stations.

Gurugram Metro’s New Corridor: The Gurugram Metro’s new corridor will span a total length of 28.8 km, establishing connectivity between HUDA City Centre and Cyber City (Moulsari Avenue). This corridor will feature 27 stations strategically located along its route.
