Jakson Limited Becomes L1 for Rs 150 Cr Contract of Chennai Metro Phase 2

CHENNAI (Metro  Rail News): Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has announced Jakson Limited as the lowest bidder for a Rs 150 crore contract which involves Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection works for 8 Underground Stations from Light House Metro to Kodambakkam Metro of Corridor- 4 of Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase II. 

CMRL invited bids for this contract with a 1630 Days deadline. Technical bids were opened on 16 April 2025 announcing that 4 firms have submitted bids for the contract. Technical evaluation of the submitted bids occurred on 16 Sep 2025. Subsequently, financial bids for the contract were opened on 17 Sep 2025 and financial evaluation of the bids took place on 18 Dec 2025 and CMRL announced Jakson Limited as the lowest bidder for the contract.
