DELHI (Metro Rail News): The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has invited bids for undertaking the final alignment design, including aerial LiDAR survey and other related works, for the Amritsar–Jammu High-Speed Rail Corridor, which spans approximately 240 km. The estimated value of the contract is ₹5.47 crore.

Brief Scope of Work: Final Alignment Design, including Aerial Lidar Survey and Other Related Works for Amritsar – Jammu High Speed Rail Corridor (about 240 km Long).
To address the increasing passenger demand and optimise high-speed rail connectivity between major cities, commercial hubs, and economic centres, a High-Speed Rail (HSR) corridor is being planned between Amritsar and Jammu.
Based on the preliminary route identified, the selected contractor will conduct a final location survey using Aerial LiDAR technology and other survey methods. The contractor will also be responsible for preparing the final alignment design, conducting hydrological studies, assessing flood plains, and developing the demarcation and land acquisition plan.
